This Refund Policy ("Policy") sets out the circumstances under which Labaiq For Programming And Designing ("Labaiq") will process refunds for fees paid in connection with the Platform's services. This Policy forms part of the Terms of Use and should be read in conjunction with them.

By purchasing any paid service on the Platform, you agree to the terms of this Refund Policy.

1. Scope of This Policy

This Policy applies to all paid services and products offered by Labaiq on the Platform, including but not limited to:

  • Business listing subscription plans (monthly, quarterly, annual).

  • Featured or premium listing upgrades.

  • Banner and display advertising placements.

  • Sponsored content and promoted posts.

  • One-time service fees (e.g., profile verification, document upload fees).

  • Lead generation packages.

  • Any other chargeable features or add-ons available on the Platform.

2. General Refund Principles

Due to the digital and service-based nature of our Platform, all fees are generally non-refundable once a service has been activated or content has been published. However, Labaiq recognises that exceptional circumstances may warrant a refund, and we have established the following guidelines to address such situations fairly.

Labaiq evaluates refund requests on a case-by-case basis and reserves the right to use its discretion in granting or refusing refunds beyond the circumstances described in this Policy.

3. Circumstances Where Refunds Are Granted

3.1 Technical Failures by Labaiq

A full refund will be issued if:

  • Your listing or advertisement was not published due to a technical error caused by Labaiq.

  • You were charged twice for the same service due to a payment processing error.

  • The Platform was unavailable (downtime) for more than 72 consecutive hours during a paid subscription period.

  • A feature you paid for was not delivered due to a system failure on our part.

3.2 Cancellation Before Activation

If you request a cancellation before your paid service has been activated or your listing published, a full refund will be provided, less any applicable payment processing fees charged by the payment gateway.

3.3 Duplicate Charges

If you are erroneously charged more than once for the same transaction, the duplicate amount will be refunded in full within 7 business days upon verification.

3.4 Service Not as Described

If a paid service materially differs from what was described at the time of purchase (e.g., a featured placement was not displayed as promised), Labaiq will investigate and, if the claim is verified, offer a refund or service credit at our discretion.

4. Circumstances Where Refunds Are NOT Granted

Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:

  • Your listing was removed due to violation of Labaiq's Terms of Use, Content Standards, or Listing Rules.

  • You changed your mind after a service was activated or a listing was published.

  • You failed to respond to Labaiq's requests for information needed to activate your service.

  • Poor performance of your listing (e.g., low enquiry rates, low impressions) — Labaiq does not guarantee specific results.

  • Services consumed or partially used (e.g., if a 3-month subscription has run for 1 month, only the unused portion may be considered for refund).

  • Downtime of less than 72 consecutive hours.

  • Errors in content you submitted (misspellings, wrong contact details, incorrect images).

  • Your account was suspended due to suspicious or fraudulent activity.

  • You were aware of the limitation, restriction, or feature discrepancy at the time of purchase.

5. Partial Refunds

In cases where a refund is not provided for the full service period, Labaiq may offer a pro-rata refund based on the unused portion of a subscription, calculated on a daily basis. Partial refunds are at the sole discretion of Labaiq.

6. Service Credits

In certain situations, instead of a monetary refund, Labaiq may offer a Platform credit equivalent to the refunded amount. Credits:

  • Are non-transferable and non-redeemable for cash.

  • Are valid for 12 months from the date of issuance.

  • Can be applied to any eligible paid service on the Platform.

  • Will be forfeited if the account is terminated.

7. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  • Contact our support team at [email protected] within 14 calendar days of the transaction or the event giving rise to the refund request.

  • Include your registered email address, account name, transaction reference number, and a clear description of the issue.

  • Attach any supporting evidence (screenshots, error messages, payment receipts) where applicable.

Our team will acknowledge receipt of your request within 2 business days and provide a resolution within 10 business days of receiving all required information.

8. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed as follows:

  • Refunds will be returned to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.

  • Processing time: 5–14 business days depending on your bank or payment provider.

  • Labaiq is not responsible for delays caused by your bank or payment processor.

  • Refunds will be issued in the original currency of the transaction (QAR).

9. Chargebacks and Disputes

We strongly encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your bank or payment provider. Initiating an unwarranted chargeback may result in:

  • Immediate suspension of your account pending investigation.

  • Permanent banning if the chargeback is found to be fraudulent or in bad faith.

  • Recovery of the disputed amount through legal proceedings if applicable.

10. Promotional and Discounted Services

Services purchased at a discounted rate through promotional campaigns are generally non-refundable unless a technical failure by Labaiq prevented service delivery.

11. Changes to This Policy

Labaiq reserves the right to amend this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Platform. Continued use of paid services following such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
